Spinat Salat(Spinach Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. table cream
    1/6 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    salt, pepper and sugar to taste
Preparation
    Wash the spinach well in several changes of clear water.
    Cut away the tough stem and discard them.
    Drain the spinach leaves and chill in a damp cloth.
    Roll a handful of leaves and slice with a very sharp knife into 1/4-inch strips.
    Toss the spinach with the dressing and serve on a bed of leaf lettuce; sprinkle the crumbled fried bacon on top.
