Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    4 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. chopped pecans
    additional powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour. Fold in pecans. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with fingers. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. (I had to bake for 30 minutes.) Cool on wire rack. When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
