Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
    4 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix well and roll like biscuits 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Grease cookie sheet.
    Stack 2 deep with margarine between layers.
    Grease tops with margarine.
    Let rise until double in size, about 2 or 3 hours.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
