Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    Beat together the sugar, butter and Crisco until creamy.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add cocoa and vanilla.
    Add flour and buttermilk (alternating the dry ingredients with the liquid and beginning and ending with flour).
    Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
