Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and corn syrup until firm ball stage.
    Add peanuts and cook until golden brown.
    Remove from heat and add soda, vanilla and butter.
    Pour into an 8-inch pie pan to cool. Makes 4 or 5 (1/4-inch) patties.
