Chocolate Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nutmeats

Preparation

Cream together butter or margarine, sugar and egg.
Dissolve soda in hot water.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
