Lime Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box lime jello
    2 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, cut in small pieces
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 c. apples, chopped
Preparation
    In bowl, put 1/4 cup jello and 1/2 cup boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Put in refrigerator.
    In bowl, put balance of jello and 1 cup of boiling water; stir until dissolved.
    Add 1 1/2 cups cold water; put in refrigerator.
