Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    salt
    pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
    2 to 3 large onions, sliced and separated
    water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, add enough water to desired consistency. (Like pancakes for heavy breading - thin for light and crispy.) Deep fry on medium-high for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown. Drain.
