Imperial Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    5 slices bacon, diced
    1/3 c. green onions, sliced
    1 or 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can peas and carrots, drained
Preparation
    Cook rice as package directs.
    In a 10-inch skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Stir in rice and onions.
    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in soy sauce.
    Season to taste with pepper.
    Add vegetables; gently toss.
    Cover; heat through.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
