Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 small chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 c. crushed tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1 tsp. basil or oregano
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Saute first three ingredients in a three-quart saucepan over medium heat until lightly brown, stirring occasionally.
    Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil or oregano, salt and water. Simmer uncovered until thickened, about 30 minutes on low heat. Pour over hot cooked spaghetti.
