Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    4 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water or little more if seems too thick
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Beat first 6 ingredients well and add vinegar and water.
    Cook on stove until thick.
    Add butter when removed from stove.
    Add some pepper to taste.
    Keeps well in refrigerator.
    Good on garden lettuce.
