Traditional Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    2 lb. diced Roma tomatoes
    6 oz. tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. fresh oregano, minced
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in large saucepan.
    Add garlic and stir.
    Add sausage and brown.
    Add onions and tomatoes and stir, cooking, for 4 minutes.
    Mix in wine, tomato paste and sugar.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Stir in fresh oregano and remove from heat.
    Serve over cooked pasta.
    Serves 6.
