Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 lb. (2 1/2 c.) raw peanuts (Spanish)
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in cool water (250\u00b0 to 260\u00b0).
    Add unblanched peanuts and continue to cook until mixture turns golden brown.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter or margarine and salt.
    Stir in soda.
