Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 cups sliced mushrooms
    2 tablespoons minced onions
    1/2 cup dry madeira or sherry
    1 10 1/2-ounce can beef broth or consomme
    dash of pepper
    2 tablespoons flour
    1 tablespoon butter, melted
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet over medium heat; add mushrooms and onion.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add wine and cook 1 minute.
    Add beef broth and pepper; simmer 5 minutes, or until liquid is reduced to half.\tMix 2 tablespoons flour with tablespoon melted butter.
    Add to sauce, stirring until sauce thickens. Season to taste.
    Yield 3 cups.
