Corned Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. corned beef
    1 qt. cold water
    8 to 12 medium potatoes, halved
    2 medium heads cabbage, cut in wedges
Preparation
    Soak corned beef in water for 2 hours; drain.
    Place corned beef and water in Dutch oven; simmer, covered for 3 hours or until tender.
    Add potatoes and cabbage, continuing to cook for 30 to 40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
