Frosted Strawberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 c. frozen strawberries (sliced and sugared kind), thawed
2 c. Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes (40 minutes if recipe is doubled).
Stir occasionally while baking. Spread 2/3 of the crumbs in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch dish; let cool.
