Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs; beat well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to cream mixture alternately with banana, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into well greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until well done. Remove; cool on rack. Wrap and store overnight.
