Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large fryer, cut up
1 lb. sausage, sliced
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 qt. chicken broth
1 c. tomato sauce
2 1/2 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
Preparation

Brown meat in oil in large pot. Remove meat and saute vegetables.
Add seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, broth and tomato sauce; simmer 15 minutes. Add meat and rice; stir. Cover and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook 20 minutes more over low heat. Serves 8.
