Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 deep frozen pie shell
1 qt. strawberries
4 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 c. sugar
6 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
dash of salt
red food coloring

Preparation

Mix and boil all ingredients (except berries) until thick, about 5 minutes.
Place berries into baked, cooled pie shell. After boiled mixture has cooled, pour over berries.
Place in refrigerator.
Add Cool Whip when ready to serve.
Makes 1 pie.
