Denver Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk, scalded and cooled
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 pkg. yeast
    flour
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients with enough flour for batter.
    Let set 45 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and enough flour for a soft dough.
    Put in a warm place to rise.
    Then roll out on floured board.
    Cut out and let rise and bake.
    Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week.
    Bake as may as you need at a time.
