Company Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of pepper
    8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut in small pieces
    dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling salt water until tender (about 8 minutes).
    Saute onion in butter until tender.
    Add flour and mix thoroughly.
    Slowly add milk.
    Add nutmeg, pepper and 3/4 cup cheese.
    Drain cabbage well and combine with cheese mixture. Place in greased casserole.
    Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
