Jam Crumpets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 English muffins, split
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1/4 c. jam or preserves
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. flaked coconut or sliced almonds
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Spread cut surface of each muffin half with 1 teaspoon each margarine and jam.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut (or almonds).
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 5 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
    Yields 12 Crumpets.
