Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak, cut in serving size pieces
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. shortening or oil
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 envelope dried onion soup mix
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 soup can water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge steak in flor and pound meat.
    Brown meat on both sides in hot shortening or oil.
    Put meat in a roasting pan.
    Combine rest of ingredients and pour over meat.
    Cover.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
    Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
