Hamburger Casserole * - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger (2 lb. better)
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 cans (small) tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
5 oz. pkg. broad noodles
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 container sour cream
6 small green onions, chopped or 1 medium onion, minced
1 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation

Brown meat in butter.
Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, sugar and garlic, simmering, covered for 20 minutes.
Cook noodles until tender and drain under cold water.
Allow cream cheese to soften and mix with sour cream, adding onions.
Place ingredients in layers in casserole:
1/2 meat mixture, noodles, rest of the meat mixture, then cheese.
Spread topping with grated cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Freezes well.
