Swiss Bliss - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick margarine
2 lb. chuck steak, cut into serving sizes
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 large jar
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, drained (save juice)
1 can V-8 juice
3 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
8 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Melt oleo
in
bottom
of large pan (10 x 13-inch). Put meat atop
butter,
then
onion soup mix on each serving, followed by mushrooms,\tgreen
pepper
and tomatoes.
To the reserved tomato juice, add enough V-8 juice to make 5 cups.
Mix in the sauce and cornstarch.
Pour over meat mixture and cover with foil.
Bake
at 350\u00b0
for\t3 to 4 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
