Virginia Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and Crisco.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating with mixer after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Alternate with milk; beat until fluffy. Add vanilla.
    Pour into a greased and floured large Bundt pan or tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
