Refrigerator Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 Cup water
    1 1/2 Cup cider vinegar
    1/3 Cup salt
    1/2 Cup sugar
    7 to 10 cucumbers quartered
    dill to taste
    1 garlic clove
Preparation
    Boil together water, vinegar, salt and sugar to make a brine. Pour over cucumbers in jar.
    Refrigerate 1 week.
