Polish Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large dill sprigs
    garlic toes, sliced
    cucumbers (either whole small or spears)
    2 qt. white vinegar
    2 qt. water
    1 c. salt
    1/4 tsp. alum
Preparation
    Add large sprig of dill, 2 sliced garlic toes and cucumbers to bottom of clean jars.
    Bring vinegar, water, salt and alum to boil.
    Pour into jars.
    Add lids immediately.
    They will seal without processing.
    Makes 7 quarts.
