1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) softened butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Place rack in lower third of oven; preheat to 400\u00b0.
Combine sugar, margarine and flour in medium bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in buttermilk, lemon juice and salt.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 40 minutes, or until filling sets and is lightly browned.
