Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. rice
    1/2 qt. tomatoes
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 large onion
    1 can tomato sauce or 3-inches of catsup from bottle (to give color)
Preparation
    Fry onion and hamburger together.
    Cook rice in salt water 4 or 5 minutes or until tender.
    Drain off excess water.
    Pour rice and tomatoes in skillet and let simmer for about 1/2 hour or put in oven at 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0; bake until almost dry.
