Herb-Baked Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh sea scallops or 2 lb. frozen, thawed
    1/2 c. or less butter or margarine (1 stick)
    3 Tbsp. parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. basil, crumbled
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and drain scallops.
    Place in single layer in dish.
    Dot with margarine.
    Sprinkle with parsley, basil, salt and pepper. Bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Stir, then bake for 20 minutes more or until tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
