Grandma'S West Virginia Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. shortening
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except shortening.
    (Melt shortening in pan in oven.)
    Roll dough with fingers or rolling pin to about 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut biscuits.
    Coat both sides of biscuits with melted shortening, then bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
