Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, torn into pieces
4 to 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
1 medium minced onion
1 c. green pepper, chopped fine
1 c. chopped celery
10 oz. box frozen peas (not cooked)
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 lb. or more grated Cheddar cheese
8 slices crispy, crumbled bacon
Preparation

Put lettuce pieces on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Lay sliced eggs on top of this.
Add minced onion on top of this.
Put layer of chopped green pepper.
Put layer of chopped celery.
Put layer of uncooked peas.
