Sweet Jammies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 c. plain yogurt
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. jam or preserves
confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Butter muffin tins.
Blend dry ingredients in bowl.
Melt butter.
Off heat, stir in yogurt and milk and when smooth, beat in egg and vanilla.
Add butter mixture to dry ingredients and stir well.
Spoon half the batter into muffin cups.
Place about a teaspoon of jam over batter in each cup and top with remaining batter.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Let stand 5 minutes before removing muffins from tin.
Sift a little confectioners sugar over muffins just before serving if you like.
