Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. mandarin peel, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can mandarins, drained
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. candied mandarin peel
Preparation
    Place mandarin sections in a single layer in the bottom of 6 individual ramekin dishes.
    Scald milk and pour over beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly until blended.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt, mix with egg mixture.
    Cook mixture in a double boiler until thick, about 7 minutes.
    Fill ramekins with custard.
    Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serve cold.
    Serves 6.
