One-Two-Three Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    Pineapple Filling
Preparation
    Cream shortening in a bowl.
    Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla, beating well after each addition.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until cakes test done.
    Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to racks to cool completely.
    Spread Pineapple Filling between layers.
