Overnight Cinnamon French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 slices (3/4-inch thick) bread slices
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. whipping cream or evaporated milk
Preparation
    In medium bowl, beat everything except bread and butter. Place bread in rimmed pan; pour batter over bread.
    Turn bread and coat well.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    About 30 to 45 minutes, before serving, make syrup.
    In small saucepan, combine all ingredients except cream or evaporated milk.
    Bring to a boil; boil for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; stir in cream.
    Cool at least 30 minutes.
    Serve warm; refrigerate leftovers.
    Fry bread in butter; serve with warm syrup.
