Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck green tomatoes
    1 c. salt
    1 head cabbage
    6 green peppers
    6 red peppers
    6 medium onions
    2 qt. cider vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes; add salt.
    Let this mixture drain in a cloth bag overnight.
    Grind cabbage, peppers and onions.
    Mix everything together and add the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and cloves.
    Cook entire mixture until onions are tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
    Seal in hot pint jars.
