Cream Cheese Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick plus 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    12 oz. cream cheese
    2 c. flour (pastry or cake flour best)
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine and cream cheese until smooth.
    Blend in flour and salt.
    Chill dough (keep extra in fridge).
    Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut in 2-inch rounds.
    Put tiny dab of raspberry and/or apricot preserves.
    Fold double and bake at 425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Remove hot cookies with a spatula to wire cooling racks and using sifter sift confectioners sugar onto cookies while they are hot (store in refrigerator).
