Black-Eyed Peas And Polish Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Polish sausage, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 1/2 oz. pkg. saffron rice
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 small jar chopped mushrooms
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can drained black-eyed peas
Preparation
    Brown the sausage and green pepper and drain.
    Put in cooktop casserole with the rice, water, mushrooms and onion. Simmer 20 minutes and add the black-eyed peas.
    Simmer 20 minutes more and serve with salad and crusty French bread.
