Cutout Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. butter flavor Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
colored sugars for garnish

Preparation

Cream the Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed of mixer until well blended.
Beat in egg.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix in creamed mixture at low speed until well blended.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
