Ida'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large eggs
3 sticks butter or margarine
1 box powdered sugar
1 box plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 C chopped pecans, optional (see cook's note]
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at the time. Fill powdered sugar box with flour and add to the butter, sugar, and egg mixture. Add vanilla. Grease and flour a tube cake pan (you can use Pam spray & no flour). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
