Cranberry Crunch - A La Mode - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rolled oats
    1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. (16 oz.) jellied or whole cranberry sauce
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease an 8-inch square pan.
    Combine rolled oats, flour and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
    Using two knives, cut in butter until crumbly.
    Place half of this mixture in prepared pan.
    Cover with cranberry sauce (if jellied sauce is used, crush with a fork).
    Top with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve warm; cut into squares and top with vanilla ice cream.
