Arroz Con Chili Verde(Rice With Green Chili) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. instant rice
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. sour cream
    2 (4 oz.) cans green chili, chopped or fresh or frozen
    12 oz. cubed Monterey Jack cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Add rice to boiling water. Stir. Cover and let stand 3 minutes. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Put rice in dish. Add rest of the ingredients. Bake until cheese melts and mixture is heated thoroughly. You can do this in crock-pot. Just mix in crock-pot and heat for 1 hour on high, then on low for 4 to 5 hours.
