Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 cups potatoes (diced and boiled)
    1/2 cup onion (diced)
    4 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    2 1/2 cups milk
    pepper to taste
    parsley to taste
    6 strips bacon (cooked crisp and crumbled)
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion, bouillon and margarine in large saucepan.
    Cover with water and cook until tender.
    Add milk and reduce heat to low.
    Cook until heated.
    Add pepper. (Thicken with potato flakes if needed.)
    Pour into serving bowls.
    Top with bacon crumbs and cheese.
    Serve with cornbread.
    Yields 8 servings.
