Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. raw cranberries
    3 apples, peeled
    1 can crushed pineapple with juice
    3 (3 oz.) boxes red jell
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare jell according to box, except 1/2 cup less of cold water.
    Wash cranberries and put in blender along with apples. Add a little jell liquid to help chop.
    Put in bowl and add sugar and mix; when dissolved, add gelatin mixture.
    Add pineapple and nuts.
    Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving.
