Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch and add water slowly, stirring constantly.
Boil over low heat until thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, then 1 egg may be beaten in.
Yields 1 cup.
