Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped (5 c.)
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1 medium red or green sweet pepper, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    12 oz. smoked sausage links, cut in half lengthwise and sliced 1/2-inch thick
    6 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Combine potatoes,
    water, onion, sweet pepper, bouillon and pepper in a
    6
    quart crockery cooker.
    Cover; cook on low heat setting for 4 to
    4
    1/2 hours or until potatoes are very tender. Stir in
    sausage,
    cheese
    and
    milk.
    Cover; cook on medium heat setting for 30 more minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
