Tex-Mex Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers, seeded or use 1 can chopped green chilies
    1 c. yellow self-rising corn meal mix
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
