Golden Potatoes Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    2 c. (10 oz. pkg.) shredded Cheddar
    2 c. sour cream (plain or with chives)
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. chopped green onion
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skin.
    Chill.
    Then peel and grate in large bowl.
    In medium saucepan, over low heat, combine butter and cheese, stirring occasionally, until almost melted.
    Remove from heat.
